New petrol, diesel prices announced in Pakistan

KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab has decided to conduct ‘safety audit’ of all major buildings across the city after nearly a dozen people were killed in a massive fire at a RJ Shopping Mall at Rashid Minhas Road, ARY News reported on Monday. ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Kuwait will sign seven Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for investment worth $10 billion through seven projects in multiple fields including environment, mining and food security, ARY News reported on Friday. QUETTA: Balochistan Caretaker Information Minister Jan Achakzai on Wednesday said that the government has initiated second phase of a crackdown against illegal foreigners across Pakistan, ARY News reported. ISLAMABAD: The non-filers would face the disconnection of utility connections including electricity and gas, as well as the blocking of mobile SIMs if return is not filed in response to notices issued, ARY News quoted FBR statement. A possible meteor has caused a flash of light followed by a loud boom in Bemidji city of Minnesota – United States (US) which was caught on camera. Beltrami County Emergency Management said numerous reports came in from Bemidji and the surrounding area about 6:30 p.m. Monday of a bright flash of light and a loud boom that rattled the windows and walls of homes. The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office checked local power stations and transformers for any sign of an explosion, but everything seemed to be working normally, according to the foreign media reports. In a bizarre incident that went viral online in no time, an 11-year-old boy appeared before a Supreme Court bench to convince them that he is alive. The incident occurred in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh where a teen boy appeared before a court to convince them that he is alive and that the murder case involving him is a fake one. The case started when the boy’s father falsely accused his grandfather and uncles of killing him. The murder case was registered by police.
